Literature Text
I'll tell you how it's done
Just throw around some rhyming words
Then add a random pun
You want to write a poem?
You want a lot of views?
Just take a famous subject
Maybe something from the news
You want to write a poem?
It won't even take a while
Just search some famous quotes up
'You'll find that life is worthwhile"
(Charles Chaplin)
You want to write a poem?
Well, you know what they say,
Just steal somebody else's words,
Change them to fit your way,
You want to write a poem?
Well how hard can it be?
Take your favorite lyrics,
And take them into custody,
You want to write a poem?
Because you think its easy,
Well that, my fellow writer
makes me feel quite queasy
You want to write a poem
My friend, take my advice
You needn't try
If views are all that's in your mind
Oops that one didn't rhyme
Just change that word to rice
It ain't that big a crime
Literature
You said....
You told me “friends forever”,
More like ‘friends for now’,
As your sweet promises
Were just lies I allowed.
You said “we are best friends”,
More like ‘friends at best’,
As your solid affirmations
Were all digressed.
You told me “I need you”
More like ‘you need me’
As your statements
Were my last plea.
Why did you go?
Why did you leave?
I’m left here all alone
Trying, in us, to believe.

Let the Fall Make You Stronger.
"Hey! Are you all right?"
"Sure, why wouldn't I be?"
"Um...because you just fell from the roof of the hou-"
"See, that's where you're wrong. I didn't fall. The floor challenged me and I accepted."
"And how did that go for you?"
"The floor won. But only because it had the advantage."
"Of being non sentient and vast in size, along with the fact that there is a freaking storm out!!"
"Nope. I just attacked from the wrong position."
"Backwards?"
"I overestimated my skills."
"I'll say. You're bleeding!"
"Only a little. Ask me again."
"What?"
"If I'm fine."
"Are you?"
"Nope."
"Is it because you're bleeding?"
"You're supposed to ask
Literature
A lesson in realism:
you are
only human.
There is no such
thing as stardust
floating in your veins or
gloomy poetry stitched
right into your heart.
Your blood is made of
iron - unbreakable,
unbending and unmatched
by any other stronghold,
for you are a fortress
that they will never invade.
Stand up,
darling;
wipe those tears away
and know that
you are the only one
who can reinforce these walls.

Sarcasm is my friend, lets just leave it at that...actually let's not...
I haven't been on Da for a while...but...aaargh! The pain of reading a poem in which the writer doesn't know what he/ she is writing about!!!
No names being mentioned...
WHY???
WHYYYYYY?
No, I'm not a perfect poet, I have made my poet sins but...never have I written for views, and poem writing isn't easy, you can't schedule yourself to write a poem! You can't say to your watchers:
I will update once a week
Because there will be months you write nothing
And months you are a human poem machine
But GNGNGNngng- that's what I do (along with a hand spasm) when I read a bad poem (sometimes the poem is my old poem but ah well, nobodies perfect, unless you are nobody, then you are perfect, but if you are not nobody, you are not perfect)
Again I ask the world....WHYYYYYYY!
On a lighter note, hope you enjoy, and if you do, fave, and if you agree, comment

LOVE the satire throughout the poem! It is sad to see that many people just write to please the mass rather than to please themselves, OR just simply think writing is an easy skill to learn without learning certain techniques and "rules".
I'm also sad that I found this poem so many years after it was written ;-; such a great poem!
